E's birth story
Thank you to E for sharing her birth story with me. This is her story of how her planned homebirth became a decision to birth in hospital due to medical complications and how she made her decisions for this. It is a story of strength in a stressful situation and how careful decision making at the end of her pregnancy impacted her experiences and outcomes. E is also a midwife, you may notice this from some of the medical terminology used in this story, and I felt very honoured to be trusted by her and her partner for their care.
